Perhaps more messy even. My old laptop crashed for good some time ago, and I needed to move to a new computer. Encouraged to install the latest (2016.4) on the web site I downloaded and installed. Could not get a license for this version, and learned from a Xilinx tech support rep that the latest version to which was entitled was 2016.1. Uninstall of 2016.4 gave me errors. The files are now gone but Vivado and DocNav still show as installed in Windows 10. Eventually I was able to get a complete install of 2016.1 in place, but due to storage limitations I had to install on an external flash drive, slow as molasses. Just upgraded the internal SSD and wish to move the install. Uninstalled from flash drive, tried to reinstall 2016.1 on the primary drive by all possible avenues. Whatever option I try, DovNav is ALWAYS greyed out on the install options list. Please advise!? |
