My ul
timate goal is this: I am comparing the power consumption vs time of a known good laptop against a bad laptop. This is power consumption during POST.
I want to log the times/current of the good laptop and graph them (XY), then run the program again with a bad laptop and compare the graphs against each other.
The way I see it I need to do a few things:
1. Start the graph when the power of my RS232 connected power supply increases in current over 0.1A (Easy)
2. Log the data of the good laptop, to a file? array? collector?
3. Plot the bad laptop against the good laptop. This is also tricky because wont the sampling times for the second laptop be different?
If someone can point me in the right direction id be very grateful.
