LM3915 是一款单片集成电路，可感应模拟电压电平并驱动 10 个 LED、LCD 或真空荧光显示屏，从而提供 3 dB/步长的对数对数显示。一个引脚将显示从条形图更改为移动点显示。LED 电流驱动经过调节和可编程，无需限流电阻器。整个显示系统可以采用低至 3V 或高达 25V 的单电源供电。该 IC 包含一个可调电压基准和一个交流标准化十级分压器。高阻抗输入缓冲器可接受低至地电位和正电源 1.5V 以内的信号。此外，它不需要针对 ±35V 的输入提供保护。输入缓冲器驱动 10 个以精确分频器为基准的独立比较器。精度通常优于 1 dB。LM3915 的 3 dB/步显示适用于宽动态范围的信号，例如音频电平、功率、光强度或振动。音频应用包括平均或峰值电平指示器、功率计和 RF 信号强度计。用 LED 条形图取代传统仪表，可实现响应更快、更坚固的显示屏，同时具有高可见性，同时保持模拟显示器的易解释性。LM3915 非常易于应用。一个 1.2V 满量程仪表除了 10 个 LED 之外，只需要一个电阻器。另一个电阻器可对 1.2V 至 12V 的满量程进行编程，与电源电压无关。LED 亮度可通过单个电位器轻松控制。
